Most Common Issues (All Models)

• Thread bunching / bird nesting: Re-thread machine with presser foot up; check bobbin wound evenly and inserted correctly.
• Skipped stitches: Use correct needle for fabric; replace bent/dull needle; ensure needle fully inserted and facing right direction.
• Breaking needles: Avoid pulling fabric while sewing; use proper needle size/type; check for bent needle.
• Upper thread breaking: Re-thread completely; check for snags in thread path; reduce upper tension slightly.
• Bobbin thread breaking: Clean bobbin case area; ensure bobbin correct for machine (Class 15 or 66); re-insert bobbin.
• Machine not sewing / jammed: Clean race hook and bobbin area of lint; oil if mechanical model; turn handwheel toward you to free.

Computerized & Embroidery Models (Recent Years)

• Error codes (e.g., E1, E2, E7): Refer to manual; usually related to motor stall or buttonhole lever; restart machine.
• Touch screen not responding: Unplug for 10 minutes; clean screen with soft cloth; update firmware if available.
• Embroidery unit not recognized: Re-attach firmly; clean connection points; check for bent pins.

Mechanical & Vintage Models

• Noisy operation: Oil moving parts regularly (use sewing machine oil only); clean thoroughly.
• Tension issues: Adjust upper and bobbin tension gradually; test on scrap fabric.
