  2. Lift the presser foot and place fabric under it, aligning with seam guide.
  3. Lower the presser foot.

  7. For free arm sewing: Remove the accessory tray to access the free arm for sleeves and cuffs.

WARNING! Never sew over pins. Remove them as you approach to avoid needle breakage and injury.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs after each project.
  2. Weekly: Oil the machine as per manual instructions (specific points only). Use only Singer sewing machine oil.
  3. Monthly: Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Check needle for burrs and replace if bent or dull.
  4. Yearly: Consider professional servicing for internal cleaning and adjustment.

CAUTION! Always unplug the machine before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use compressed air, as it can force lint deeper into the mechanism.

Accessories

The machine includes a comprehensive set of accessories stored in the built-in compartment.
