Stitch Selection and Adjustment

  2. Automatic Needle Threader: Lower threader lever, hook thread through guide, raise lever to pull thread through needle eye.
  3. Bobbin Winding: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, push bobbin to right, press foot controller.
  4. Bobbin Insertion: Open bobbin cover, drop bobbin in with thread pulling counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.
  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to lower and raise needle, pull upper thread to bring up bobbin thread.

WARNING! Always raise needle to highest position before threading. Ensure presser foot is raised when threading upper thread.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Daily cleaning: Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs with small brush.
  2. Monthly oiling: Apply 1-2 drops of sewing machine oil to designated points (see diagram).
