Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine and accessories from packaging.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Plug into machine port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Ensure machine is unplugged during setup.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine; follow threading guide.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position using handwheel.
  2. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered path on machine; use built-in needle threader.
  3. Insert bobbin: Place wound bobbin in bobbin case, pull thread through slot.
  4. Bring up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring up bobbin loop.

  6. Test sew on scrap fabric.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Use correct needle and thread for fabric.

Threading and Bobbin Winding

Upper Threading:

  1. Place spool on spool pin.

  3. Use needle threader: Lower lever, hook thread, pull back to thread needle.

Bobbin Winding:

  1. Place empty bobbin on winder spindle.
  2. Thread through bobbin winding tension disc.
  3. Push bobbin winder to right until it clicks.
  4. Press foot pedal to wind bobbin evenly.
  5. Stop when bobbin is full; cut thread.

WARNING! Ensure bobbin winder is disengaged before sewing.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before cleaning. Remove needle plate to clean lint from bobbin area.

  1. Use small brush to remove lint from feed dogs, bobbin case, needle plate.
  2. Oil sparingly: Use sewing machine oil on moving parts as per manual.
  3. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; it can force lint deeper. Never oil plastic parts.
