Step-by-Step Setup
- Choose Workspace: Select a stable, well-lit table or sewing cabinet with adequate space for fabric movement.
- Unpack Machine: Remove all packaging materials, protective covers, and shipping restraints from the sewing machine.
- Power Connection: Connect the foot pedal to the machine and plug into a properly grounded 120V outlet. Avoid using extension cords.
- Thread Setup: Place thread spool on holder, follow threading guide through tension discs, take-up lever, and needle.
- Bobbin Installation: Wind bobbin with matching thread and insert into bobbin case following machine-specific instructions.
- Needle Installation: Insert appropriate needle type for your fabric, ensuring flat side faces correct direction.
- Test Stitch: Run the machine on scrap fabric to check tension, stitch formation, and overall operation.
