Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable table.

  1. Remove machine from box: Lift by carrying handle, not by head.

Stitch Selection and Adjustment

Threading and Bobbin Winding

Upper Threading:

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on pin, follow numbered threading path.
  3. Pull thread behind needle bar guide, then use automatic threader.
  4. Pull loop through needle eye, thread under presser foot.

Bobbin Winding:

  1. Place empty bobbin on winder spindle, push to right.
  2. Guide thread from spool through bobbin winding tension disk.
  3. Wrap thread around bobbin few times, press foot pedal.
  4. Stop when bobbin is full; cut thread, push spindle left.

WARNING! Ensure bobbin thread is properly seated to avoid jams.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Remove needle plate to clean lint from bobbin area.

  1. Use small brush to remove lint from feed dogs, bobbin case.
  2. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  3. Oil as per manual instructions (sparingly on designated points).
  4. Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing).

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; it can force lint into mechanics. Never oil without unplugging.
