Threading and Bobbin Winding

Correct threading is essential for proper stitch formation.

  1. Winding Bobbin: Place spool on pin, thread through guide, around tension disc, through bobbin hole. Place bobbin on winder shaft, push shaft to right. Press foot controller to wind. Stop when full.
  2. Upper Threading: Follow numbered path: Spool pin > thread guide > tension discs > take-up lever > thread guide > needle (front to back).

  4. Drawing Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread tail, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up. Pull upper thread to bring bobbin loop up. Pull both threads under presser foot toward back.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading upper thread to engage tension discs.
