Tip: Always thread with presser foot raised to open tension discs.

Bobbin Winding and Insertion

Bobbin must be wound evenly and inserted correctly.

  1. Place empty bobbin on winder spindle; push spindle to right.
  2. Thread from spool through bobbin winding tension disc.
  3. Hold thread end, press foot pedal to wind bobbin until full (auto-stop).
  4. Cut thread, push spindle left to return to sewing position.
  5. Insert bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise; pull thread into slot.
  6. Place case into machine; pull thread until it clicks into place.

WARNING! Do not wind bobbin while threaded through needle. Use only Class 15 bobbins.

Stitch Adjustment

  2. Zigzag: Adjust width for seam finishing or appliqué.
