Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift from case, remove all protective materials.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Plug into machine's pedal port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine, then into 120V AC outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle flat side back, tighten.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winder, press foot pedal.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during setup. Ensure machine is unplugged when installing needle.

First-Time Use

Power on machine; LED light turns on.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered guides, use automatic needle threader.
  2. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case, thread through slot, pull under presser foot.
  3. Select stitch: Use stitch selection dial or buttons.
  4. Test sew: Place fabric under presser foot, lower presser foot lever, gently press foot pedal.
  5. Adjust tension: Use tension dial if stitches are uneven.

CAUTION! Always lower presser foot before sewing. Keep hands clear of moving needle.

Stitch Selection & Sewing

Supports straight, zigzag, decorative, and stretch stitches.

  1. Select stitch: Use dial or buttons; number displays on panel.
  2. Adjust settings: Set length/width as needed.
  3. Position fabric: Under presser foot, lower presser foot lever.
  4. Start sewing: Press foot pedal lightly; use speed control slider to limit max speed.
  5. Reverse: Press reverse button to backstitch at beginning/end of seam.
  6. Cut threads: Press automatic thread cutter button after sewing.
  7. Buttonhole: Attach buttonhole foot, place button in foot, select buttonhole stitch, press foot pedal.
  8. Needle position: Use needle up/down button to stop with needle in fabric or up.

WARNING! Do not pull fabric; let feed dogs move it. Always use correct needle for fabric type.

Maintenance Features

Automatic Needle Threader: Push lever down, hook thread, release lever. Automatic Thread Cutter: Press button after sewing. Bobbin Warning: Indicator light alerts when bobbin is low.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs with brush. Wipe exterior with dry cloth.

CAUTION! Do not use compressed air; it can force lint into machine. Oil only as specified in manual.
