Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  3. Bobbin insertion: Drop bobbin into case with thread pulling clockwise; pull thread under tension spring.
  4. Bring up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to catch bobbin thread; pull both threads under presser foot.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading. Do not force thread through needle.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Remove lint and dust regularly.

  1. Remove needle plate screws; lift plate to access bobbin area.
  2. Use small brush to remove lint from feed dogs, bobbin case, and hook race.
  3. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  4. Oil moving parts as per manual (use sewing machine oil only).
