Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into 120V AC outlet.
  3. Install foot controller into designated port.
  4. Raise presser foot and install needle securely.
  5. Wind bobbin using bobbin winder and insert into bobbin case.
  6. Thread upper thread following numbered path diagram.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off and unplug machine when not in use or during maintenance.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Select straight stitch (pattern 1) using stitch selector dial.
  2. Place fabric under presser foot, lower presser foot lever.
  3. Gently press foot controller to begin sewing.
  4. Practice on scrap fabric to adjust tension and stitch settings.
  5. Use reverse stitch button at beginning and end of seams.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Never pull fabric while sewing.
